Well, it's true — Horizon Inn has gone viral with the help of our furry pal, Ritchie!
Ritchie made quite the entrance and even enjoyed a cracker or two from our complimentary guest happy hour.
Owner Jim noticed Ritchie gazing longingly at the snacks and decided to hand the good boy a few — an instant friendship in the making.
As Ritchie entered his room, a wave of delicious scents filled his nose.
The unmistakable aroma of whipped cream and doggy biscuits was simply too much to resist.
He trotted over to the fridge, where a chilled bottle of champagne awaited his pup parents — but what really caught his attention was the puppy parfait sitting right beside it, complete with his name on the tag.
As his parents toasted to their getaway, Ritchie happily licked his bowl clean, gearing up for a big day exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea.
While his stay with us was short, Ritchie made the most of every moment.
Strolling through town, he quickly became a local celebrity — turning heads and melting hearts wherever he went.
Locals, visitors, and shopkeepers alike stopped to say hello, eager to know how he was enjoying his time.
Ritchie, a man of few words, let his tail do all the talking.
