Standard Deposit Policy for reservations
- All Rates are based on double occupancy
- $20 extra person fee (13 years and older)
- Children 12 and under stay for free
- Five (5) Day cancellation policy
- All cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee
standard Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
An advance deposit equivalent to one night’s room rate including sales tax is required before reservations are confirmed. Deposits are not refundable unless cancellation notice is received five (5) days prior to your scheduled arrival date. No deposit refunds will be made unless a valid cancellation number is received. $10 cancellation fee applies in all cases. Your deposit will hold the reservation as confirmed for arrival and will be credited to your account for the first night of your scheduled stay. Modifications or Cancellations are not permitted inside 5 days from date of arrival AND guests will be financially responsible for the entire stay.
Horizon Inn & Ocean View Lodge is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the rooms, on the patios/balconies, or common areas. A violation of this policy may result in a fine of $250.00 or more.
Dogs are welcome at both the Ocean View Lodge and Annex only. Dogs must be registered at check-in and each pet will be assessed a $20 per night guest fee. Pets must never be left unattended in the guest rooms and ask that you respect all posted signs. Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public areas (except for Carmel Beach) and pet owners are required to pick up after their pets. We allow a maximum of two large dogs per Cottage and one large dog per Annex room. Please note: at the Horizon Inn we adhere to strict guidelines for service animals set forth by the ADA. Emotional support dogs are required to stay in pet-friendly accommodations and we do not accommodate puppies.
