I Cantori di Carmel, conducted by Dr. Sal Ferrantelli, is a volunteer chorus that seeks excellence in choral performance. Our programs include major choral works as well as lesser-known jewels of the choral repertoire. I Cantori di Carmel (Our Italian name means: The Singers of Carmel) has been bringing choral classics to the Monterey Peninsula since 1981. Sunset Presents in Studio 105 proudly brings you Logan Mize, an accomplished country singer/songwriter from Clearwater, Kansas, who has deep musical roots in his family tree. His great uncle was Billy Mize, largely known for crafting and evolving the legendary Bakersfield sound, which included musical pioneers Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. In 2009, his first self-titled album was released and shortly thereafter, in 2010, Logan signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music. In 2012, his second album Nobody in Nashville was released, which peaked at #49 on the US Country chart. Watch decked out boats cruise along Monterey Bay's scenic coastline during the Monterey Yacht Club's lighted boat parade. The boats will start at Old Fisherman's Wharf and turn around at Hopkins Point, just after the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The City Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration starts with the Fire Department delivering Santa Claus at 3:00 pm along with a host of entertainment to follow. The grand finale is the town Mayor lighting the tree at approximately 5:45 pm (Rain or Shine). Santa Claus makes an appearance for the countdown to light the tree, downtown median and park lights -- all of which light up at the same time. Immediately following the tree lighting, Carmel Plaza hosts its annual Holiday Open House party until 7 pm, offering refreshments and entertainment.

Learn while you celebrate; docents and volunteers will be on hand to tell the story of each of these charming buildings, many of which are only open to the public during this celebration. This production broke all Golden Bough box office attendance records, and was performed to over 6000 PacRep theatre goers. In this musical based on the hit songs of ABBA, young Sophie is ready to get married to her fiancée Sky, except for one thing - she has never met her father and wants him present for the big day. She invites three men that she discovers in her mother's diary and believes to be candidates, but when they all arrive, Sophie's mother Donna becomes distressed. As Sophie, Sky, Donna, her friends, and the three potential fathers prepare for the big day, emotions run high and surprises abound. It's PacRep's annual rockin' holiday tribute concerts audiences will be dancing in the aisles of the Golden Bough Playhouse as PacRep's infamous rock impersonators don wigs and costumes and pay tribute to the rock legends of yesteryear. Directed by Stephen Moorer, past tributes have included artists from Elvis and Little Richard to Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, and Sonny and Cher with plenty of surprises along the way. Over 40 hit classic songs will be presented live on stage.
