Watching watching in Carmel is better than it has been in years. A recent growth in krill has brought a large blue whale population, in addition to humpbacks and dolphins. The extraordinary number of whales is delighting visitors on shore and in special whale watching tours. Why not follow the whales to Carmel for an end of summer celebration?
August in Carmel means the fog is beginning to lift, while visitors and residents alike are enjoying the last of summer and a chance to relax before the school year starts and the busy holiday season ramps up. So, take a cue from the whales and come to Carmel!
